We found Dorothy Land is a place full of frocks, fashions and folly from the 20th century after traveling the yellow brick road to Lismore, country Victoria, where her collection fills the local hall. The collection is curated by Dorothy Nicol, a wonderful woman with swooning on her mind. We produced this short film about Dorothy and her collection as a commissioned piece for the Ballarat Heritage Festival in collaboration with heritage curator Amy Tsilemanis.
Later we collaborated on a fashion show fundraiser to help Dorothy digitise her collection in collaboration with archivist Laurene Dietrich. Check the images below.
