Ballroom dancing for love
The City of Ballarat’s Positive Ageing Coordinator approached Yum Studio with the idea of presenting the Ballarat Senior’s Festival report as a video. The idea was to try to better convey the outcomes of this annual event.
Shooting different events around town we found the most fabulous love story between two octogenarian ballroom dancers.
The city’s councillors were shown the resulting short story as a way to report back on how successfully the festival had been. We were excited to be part of this small innovation to the governance process in local government and feel it highlights the need to engage people in a range of different ways.
